OUR SERVICES
Meet Our
Animals
Here at Sydney Eco Land Clearing we provide Vegetation Management Solutions through targeted livestock grazing.
We provide safe and controlled herd management.

Goats

Sheep
We're excited to expand our sustainable team with sheep, the perfect partner to our goats for even more effective, natural vegetation management across Sydney's diverse landscapes.
Our sheep are a self shedding hair breed renowned for their toughness, fast growth, and low-maintenance grazing in Australian conditions. Unlike wool breeds, they don't require shearing, and their short hair coats resist tangling in dense vegetation.
They thrive on grasses and lighter weeds, complementing our goats, who focus on tougher brush, invasives like blackberries / lantana and other weeds.
Our Sheep are gentle, curious, and flock-oriented. They form strong social bonds and respond well to calm handling. They can be startled by sudden noises but are generally calm and friendly.
Together, our herds provides balanced clearing, while the sheep handle the grass layer to reduce fuel loads and fire risk, the goats tackle the woody dense underbrush and bushes.
Delivering complete, low-impact land clearing that's kinder to the environment and your property.

Animal Care
Our animals are valued team members whose health and happiness come first.
For every project, we provide shelter from both sun and rain, a reliable water supply, and consistent monitoring. Our animals receive regular on-site visits, and we offer off-site 24/7 video monitoring for added assurance.
All our goats are tagged and vaccinated in accordance with state regulations, reflecting our commitment to animal health and welfare. We prioritize the well-being of our herd, providing them with proper care and attention to maintain their health and productivity.
The welfare of our livestock is our top priority.

Fencing
We can provide secure and safe temporary fencing, should existing fencing be incomplete, inadequate or missing. Both for the safety of our animals and individuals on-site.
Our fencing is manufactured in accordance with Australian Standards and our robust and reliable fencing ensures that targeted grazing can proceed safely and effectively, providing a secure environment for all involved.
Site Management
Throughout the duration of our projects, we conduct regular site visits to ensure the welfare of the animals and the progress of the project itself.
These visits include comprehensive animal welfare checks, monitoring, replenishing water supplies, and ensuring shelter is available for both sun and rain protection. We also perform fencing security checks and identify any obstructions / issues that may arise as the land is being cleared. 24/7 Video monitoring is also utilised at a number of our sites, to ensure constant
monitoring of the animals.
To ensure optimal grazing progress, we carefully monitor the herd and relocate them
as needed, based on the development of the project.
Inspection, Quotation & Set Up

Site
Inspection
We will conduct a site visit prior to quoting, not only to assess the suitability of the vegetation for our livestock.
But to also evaluate the site itself. Such aspects as, site access, terrain restrictions or other challenges.
This allows us to tailor our approach to the specific needs of the site and ensure optimal results.
Quotation and
Agreement
A detailed quote for the services provided will be issued, outlining the agreed-upon services, projected time line, and pricing.
Our quotes are inclusive of Livestock hire, Transport, Secure Fencing, Shelter, Water, regular Site & Animal Check Ups and any Off-site Monitoring, if required.
Once the quote is approved and the agreement is finalised, we will confirm the installation date.
Site
Set Up
Our team will attend the site to set up the necessary fencing, shelter, and water supply. Once preparations are complete, the animals will be delivered and installed on-site.
On-site monitoring will continue throughout the duration of the project to ensure the animals well-being and the success of the project.
Site
Pack Down
At the conclusion of the project, the animals will be safely removed from the site.
The team will then dismantle and remove fencing, as well as the shelter and water supply.
Like any weed or vegetation management program, the project may need a follow up.
Depending on the time of year, location, type of weed etc further grazing may be required.
